Utah police crashed a cruiser through a fence and helped a man jump from a second floor window to escape while his apartment complex burned to the ground.
According to WTKR, police used every piece of equipment they could to help get people to safety as the fire tore through an apartment complex.
The department just released that body cam footage.
According to West Valley City police, the fire was caused by an electrical shortage. In all five units are a total loss and it caused almost a million dollars worth of damage.
The fire department reports it was a two-alarm fire.
The man suffered only minor injuries.
No one else was injured.
