UPS driver blocks ambulance on emergency call by refusing to move his van

An inconsiderate UPS driver blocked the path of a Brooklyn ambulance for half a minute before deciding to move- and threatened to sue to man who filmed the incident.

The UPS vehicle’s driver seemed to take his sweet time, despite flashing lights, sirens and horns urging him to make way for the in-service emergency vehicle.

Eventually, the bespectacled delivery man moved his truck aside, and created a path for the ambulance to pass.

Upon dismounting his vehicle, he was approached by a man with a camera phone, who asked him if he would be comfortable blocking an ambulance if it were his family that needed assistance.

“Do me a favor and let me pass, please,” the driver said. “Bear in mind, if you post that, you will get a lawsuit.”

According to the Daily Mail, the driver violated UPS policies and the company is taking appropriate action.
