One of two Texas girls who died in an early-morning fire Friday in Oklahoma may have started the blaze.Twelve-year-old Aysha Tawfiq and 8-year-old Zara Tawfiq of larksville were found in a bedroom of the their father and stepmother’s Moore home. The girls’ 16-year-old brother, Radi, escaped through a bedroom window.

Because of smoke in the home, firefighters had to use thermal imagers to find the girls.

The family told firefighters that a small fire had started in the front room of the house Thursday night. They thought they had put it out and did not notify firefighters.

Fire investigators say all accidental causes have been ruled out.
