Police dash cam captures massive gas explosion that killed one and leveled buildings in Wisconsin

Video footage from a Wisconsin police dash camera shows the moment when a massive gas explosion rocked the town of Sun Prairie, killing one individual and destroying several buildings.

The explosion happened with so much force that it caused a shockwave and sent debris flying in multiple directions, as well as prompting nearby people to flee for their lives.

One Sun Prairie firefighter -identified as SPFD Firefighter Cory Barr- was killed during the explosion, destroying his business in the process.

According to TMJ4, Sun Prairie Police Chief Patrick Anhalt saw no probable cause to file criminal charges, and said the blast was the result of “incomplete and inaccurate information was exchanged and relied upon” by those working on an underground project.
