A Philadelphia woman who left a cardboard cutout of President Donald Trump in her car is now looking for a new car, after an arsonist set her vehicle on fire.
65-year-old Laurie Livingston’s Chevrolet Cavalier was found burning at around 3 AM, prompting a response by first responders. The Fire Marshal ruled the cause of the fire as arson.
As it turns out, Livingston’s car was frequently targeted, thanks to a cutout of President Donald Trump, which occupied the passenger seat of her car.
“I put Donald Trump, and I don’t care,” she said. “I voted for him and I have the right to say what I want to say. Then last night at 3 o’clock, it blew up.”
The car has previously been vandalized- the windshield had been smashed and the tires slashed. But the latest fire has Livingston in fear of her life- and her neighbors were afraid to speak up, lest they face retaliation by the arsonist.
According to NBC10, Police have not confirmed a motive, though Livingston believes it was politically motivated.
