New York Firefighters arrested in all-out wedding brawl

A melee free-for-all took place between wedding attendees and firefighter guests in New York, with several ranking members of the Hagerman Fire Department ending up in handcuffs.

Suffolk County Police, State Police, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department and NYS Parks Police responded to help quell the incident, which involved about 40-50 people and resulted in several injuries, including the groom and two police officers.

According to Riverhead Local, the fight went down Sunday morning and it is unknown what exactly set the brawl off.

Two ranking HFD members -including First Assistant Chief Thomas Dunham and Lieutenant Corea Citarella- were charged along with two others for the fight in the tiny town of Wading River.

The incident was reportedly made worse by the fact that many involved were fairly intoxicated.
