An NYC-area paramedic who allegedly doesn’t make enough money to get by has resorted to an OnlyFans account.
Lauren Caitlyn Kwei is a staff paramedic for SeniorCareEMS in the Big Apple, providing medical services to a mostly older demographic.
However, the 23-year-old’s salary just isn’t cutting it, apparently, forcing her to get “creative” by selling racy material online.
According to the New York Post, the paramedic doesn’t understand why her side job is so controversial.
“The bottom line: I don’t get paid a lot. I’m just trying to make ends meet,” Kwei said. “I truly don’t think this has anything to do with being a paramedic.”
While NYC is an increasingly difficult place to live, the West Virginia transplant doesn’t feel that moving to a more affordable area is an option.
“There are plenty of people who are medical professionals who have every right to do what they want with their own bodies. I’m not doing it at work. Health care workers aren’t making a lot of money. And I’m not the only one trying to make ends meet.”
Interestingly, Kwei moved to New York in 2015 to “pursue the performing arts,” and graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, a private conservatory on the Upper West Side.
However, the young woman eventually decided she wanted to help others, eventually abandoning the limelight for flashing red lights.
