If you’re in emergency services and want to stay employed, resist the urge to post the goings-on of your day to social media.
One Florida medic on probationary status with the Polk County Fire Rescue Service learned this the hard way, after he was forced to resign for sharing graphic images of a bloody ambulance following a crash.
Michael Ruby had received complaints against him when the photos made their way to social media, prompting an investigation by the dept.
According to FOX 13, the incident marks the the second time in about a week in which a Polk Fire Rescue employee has resigned because of social media issues.
