Florida firefighters rescue ducklings from storm drain, return them to their mother

SHARE

A fire rescue team from the Bonita Springs Fire Department was called to a golf course to pull eight baby ducklings from a storm drain.

Firefighters actually recorded the mother duck on their cell phone and used that sound to lure the baby ducks to them so the firefighters could pull them out.

The mother duck also circled the firefighters during the entire rescue.

All of the effort was worth it as everyone came out unharmed and all the ducks went back to swimming in a nearby retention pond.
