An eight-bedroom Marco Island home is now a pile of ashes after a fire caused roughly $2.5 million worth of damage on Saturday morning.
According to the Naples Daily News, the home was under construction and empty at the time of the fire.
A neighbor called the fire in after they were woken up by their barking dog.
It took firefighters more than an hour to put out the flames.
One firefighter did suffer a minor injury.
