Oregon is experiencing some major flooding in the Central Willamette area that’s left people and pets stranded.
According to KATU, the Salem Fire Department had to send two people on a floating raft out to bring a stranded person to dry land, in the process of getting to the home one of the firefighters noticed a splashing cat trying to keep its head above the water.
You can see in the video the cat wasn’t pleased on getting picked up, though it eventually settled down.
The firefighters released the feral cat on higher ground.
