The Ford Bronco lineup has a new fire-rescue vehicle in the aftermarket realm, which was revealed this week at a Las Vegas trade show.
BDS suspension debuted their Fire Command Bronco, a short cab variant, at the SEMA auto show.
The backwoods fire/rescue-themed Bronco is ultra-capable to rush the fire chief or rescue lead ahead of heavier equipment to assess each situation and build a tactical plan of attack for the team,” reads an email statement from BDS Suspension to FireRescue1.com.
The vehicle is essentially a Black Diamond-edition Bronco shortened and given a more robust roll-cage structure.
Afterwards, the Bronco was loaded with everything needed to get the job done.
Many may notice the vehicle harkens back to the old “half-cab” Broncos that were popular with many fire departments of the 1980s and 1990s.
