FDNY promises suspensions after Instagram model posts racy snaps from firehouse

Firefighters at a Manhattan fire station are facing disciplinary action after allowing some bikini-clad women to lure them into a photoshoot at their place of business.

The men of the Engine 8/Ladder 2 stationhouse on 51st Street in Midtown Manhattan had some curious visitors last week, resulting in a lot of public exposure they may not have wanted.

Instagram models Vera Smirnova and Anastasia Fields were spotted at the station, using members and apparatus of the FDNY as props while snapping a few photos.

According to the New York Post,  the FDNY brass were not amused.

In all likelihood,  the images violate a policy stating that “members of the department are prohibited from taking photographs, videotaping or recording audio while working unless authorized.”

“[The] department is aware of the photos and is investigating,” FDNY officials said in a statement on Sunday. “Members involved will be suspended.”
