Explosion at Pennsylvania chocolate factory kills two, nine still missing

A massive explosion at a chocolate factory in Berks County, Pennsylvania, has had a devastating impact as officials have confirmed that two people are dead, eight have been injured, and nine are still missing.

According to WGAL, the explosion happened around 5 p.m. Friday evening in West Reading. The factory belongs to the R.M. Palmer Company.

Officials closed off a six-block radius around the factory. Not only was the factory destroyed, but so was another nearby building.

Rescue crews have worked through the night moving rubble to find anyone that may be trapped underneath.

No cause of the explosion has been determined as of yet.
