London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority Chair Val Shawcross and Commissioner Brian Robinson today sent messages of condolence to Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service following the death of firefighter Bob Miller. Firefighter Bob Miller died following an accident whilst attending a fire in a disused factory.
Chair Val Shawcross said: “I was extremely saddened to hear of the tragic death of Firefighter Bob Miller. Our sympathies go out to all our colleagues in the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service. The thoughts of the Authority are with the service on these difficult days ahead.”
Commissioner Brian Robinson said: “The loss of a firefighter is felt by the whole service and our thoughts are with them and Firefighter Bob Miller’s family and friends at this difficult time.”
