A mystery is unfolding in the Big Apple, after 72-year-old man was stabbed to death inside of a Queens apartment and three others were found unresponsive early Thursday morning.
Police were called to the fatal incident at around 6:30 this morning, after they were informed of a man acting erratically.
On the scene, officers found one man dead and three others unconscious, with ages ranging from 29 to 70 years.
The survivors were taken to a local hospital, according to the New York Post.
The 30-year-old male, who is being considered a suspect, was taken in for psychiatric evaluation with charges pending.
NYPD also report finding chemicals at the scene, although they would not elaborate on the matter.
Sources claim that the individuals involved are all related, and that they have been known to “chant” for religious purposes.
“I am very surprised. They’re a good, church-going family,” said one, who declined to identify themselves. “I don’t know what happened but whatever happened is inside the apartment.”
