Firefighter Sherman participated in a training drill/maintenance check with SCBA packs from 7:30-9:00pm on 01/03/2005. He went home after the training and was discovered unresponsive in bed later that evening. Resuscitative measures were initiated and he was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to a cardiac arrest on 01/04/2005.
