A charter bus carrying military personnel caught fire as it travelled through West Virginia, with the ensuing blaze injuring one firefighter.
Barboursville Volunteer Fire were dispatched to the I-64 West Interchange earlier this morning after the bus caught fire, spreading to the passenger portion from the back of the bus.
According to WSAZ, most of the military personnel were able to get their gear, and all escaped from the vehicle.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital, but is in good condition. The soldiers were on their way to Indiana and are stranded until another bus picks them up.
