A special whiskey is created to honor Fallen Firefighter

Daryl Gordon died on March 26th after falling down an elevator shaft during a four alarm apartment fire.  On Tuesday, according to a tweet on Ohio Fire Fighters’ twitter account, Gordon will be honored with a special bottle of Woodford Reserve whiskey.

 

Each 750-milliliter bottle will include Gordon’s logo on the front and there will be an opportunity to have engraving of up to three lines on the back of each bottle, at no extra charge.

 

The bottles will be sold at the Party Source in Bellevue, KY from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. October 9th however you can reserve online starting on October 1st.  According to wlwt.com, Gordon was a Cincinnati firefighter for 30 years and leaves behind a wife and two daughters.
